My first trip to the USA in 2013

Finally I made it to the USA for a really cool Road trip in 2013. The Journey started on a sunny day from Gibraltar Airport via London Heathrow to Chicago. After arrival we spent 2 days in Chicago, before we started our 4 weeks Camper Van adventure. I had to learn, that whatever you buy in the USA it is always XXL 😉 From Chicago we took the Bus to Fort Wayne and continued with a Taxi to Decatur to pick up our Camper Van. We had a special deal, we basically picked up the RV from the manufactory and … My first trip to the USA in 2013 weiterlesen

Beautiful Mellau and Bregenzer Forrest in Austria

I stayed a week in September 2020 at the Ennemoser Appartment House (appartement-ennemoser.at) in Mellau, Austria. I was lucky, because on the weekend we arrived there was a big festival going on over the weekend. They were bringing the cows down from the mountains into the cowshed over the winter time. I had also a fantastic Schnaps tasting at the Werkstatt, I really can recommend it, should you be in that Area. Unfortunately they have cancelled this year the Goats Market, which I also can recommend, if you like traditional Austrian food. On the End of my Trip we visited … Beautiful Mellau and Bregenzer Forrest in Austria weiterlesen

Etosha Park and Sossuvlei, Namibia

This has been my first trip to Africa and so far the best Africa trip. When you are in Namibia, you have to do a Safari at the Ethosha Park. Here you have many options, from Group camping Tours to Private luxury Tours. At this time I decided to go for a camping tour organised from https://www.wilddog-safaris.com/ We have seen the Big Five, unfortunately I don’t have them all on pictures. All over all a great experience and not to expensive. At this time we paid for a 7days Safari 250 EUR, inclusive Tent and 3 meals a day. Etosha Park and Sossuvlei, Namibia weiterlesen
