Hi, I’m Heiko. Based in Germany, but at home in the world.

I don’t just travel to tick countries off a list; I immerse myself in them. My journey isn’t just a series of vacations, it is a collection of chapters living abroad. I’ve called Ireland, South Africa, and Spain home, absorbing their cultures one day at a time. But my passport also tells the story of two years in Southeast Asia, where I rented an apartment in Jomtien, Thailand. Using that as my base, I took “holidays from my holiday” to explore the deep history of Cambodia and the vibrant streets of Vietnam.
